Cattle Prod thanks our fans and the establishments we play as you guys are the reason we exist. Y'all are the best and we love every darn one of you! Keep the cold ones flowing and always remember to take care of your bar folk as they work hard to keep us all cool and moist.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to to Bill and Beverly Lindquist, owners of the Lone Star Saloon in Richmond, TX for the loss of their historic Texas landmark saloon which was destroyed by fire on Nov. 19, 2008. The Lone Star had been open since 1889 and Cattle Prod Band enjoyed playing there. We hope you re-build, though we understand it can never be replaced as it was. Best of luck and we hope to see you in the future.
We didn't really know what to expect when we dropped by the 517 Bar to see Cattle Prod. With a name like Cattle Prod, who knows what might happen. We were pleasently surprised with what we heard from them. They performed a little of everything. From rock to country, they played it all. It was "Silver Wings" and Three Dog Night's "Never Been To Spain" and a rousing version of "If You Wanna Get To Heaven, You Gotta Raise A Little Hell".Check 'em out -

Just wanted to tell you guys what a great site you have here. Looks like you've got alot of dates lined up to play, but everything is in Texas. What about NY ??? Looks like we're going to have to come down there and see you guys first hand. We've seen Mick play many times and he's always excellent so we can only assume that you guys kick ass together. Nice play list, too. Well, keep up the playing and the site and we'll try and get down there soon and see you live !!
